2.9 million dollars if Messi loses against Canada.. The story of the rapper's bet

Boldly, the famous Canadian rapper "Drake" bet on his country's victory over Argentina in the semifinals of the "Copa America" early Wednesday.

The wealthy rapper made a very bold decision, as he placed a bet of 300,000 US dollars on the world champions losing to Canada.

According to "USA Today," Drake stands to lose 300,000 dollars if Canada loses as expected.

However, if the surprise happens and Canada defeats Lionel Messi and his teammates, Drake will win 2.9 million dollars.

It is worth noting that Canada lost in the tournament opener to Argentina by a score of 0-2, and now they meet "La Albiceleste" again in the semifinals.

Drake's net worth is estimated at 250 million dollars, according to the latest numbers in 2024.
