The Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling renewed early Sunday morning on several areas in southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that an Israeli drone launched a dawn strike targeting a cooperative owned by citizen Bilal Ghaith for selling foodstuffs located at the triangle of the towns of Tayr Harfa and Al-Jibbin, causing severe damage to the building and damaging a large amount of the cooperative’s contents, as well as damaging the neighboring buildings.
It added that the western parts of the town of Tayr Harfa have been subjected to intermittent artillery shelling since this morning.
Israeli warplanes also launched airstrikes on the towns of Majdal Zoun, Zibqin, Al-Jibbin, Hula, and Tayr Harfa, and the occupation artillery targeted the towns of Tayr Harfa and Majdal Zoun.
Last night, the occupation forces fired a number of heavy artillery shells on the outskirts of the towns of Naqoura, Yaroun, Al-Jibbin, Al-Dahira, and on the mountains of Labouneh and Allam in the western sector.
Until this morning, Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flew over the villages of the western and central sectors up to the Litani River, and the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line in the south, coinciding with the launching of flares above the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line in the south.
