The "Yedioth Ahronoth" website reported on Sunday that "Israel plans to eliminate the remaining four Hamas brigades in Rafah and will inform Egypt of its plans to avoid tensions."

The newspaper added, "Israel will need to coordinate with Cairo on how to deal with the underground wall that Israel wishes to build on the Gaza-Egypt border to prevent weapons smuggling in the future."

The site pointed to warnings issued by an Egyptian official last night about "the continuation of the war on the Gaza Strip during Ramadan, where Egypt clarified that Israeli military action in Rafah during Ramadan will cause a crisis that will affect not only Israel but the entire region, which is on the verge of explosion.

It continued: "Amid the progress made in negotiations aimed at releasing hostages and stopping the fighting, the attack on Rafah may be postponed, but officials in the military as well as in the political leadership agree on the need to launch the attack."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed on Saturday evening that he is working to obtain another plan that would lead to the release of the abductees and the completion of the destruction of the Hamas brigades in Rafah.

Netanyahu stated in a post on the "X" site (formerly Twitter): "For this reason, I sent a delegation to Paris, and tonight we will discuss the next steps in the negotiations."

The Israeli Prime Minister also said in his post that the "operational plans for Rafah will be discussed soon."
