US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that any ground military operation in Rafah would cause a major humanitarian crisis.

During a joint press conference with Sameh Shoukry, the Egyptian Foreign Minister, following the Arab Six-Ministerial Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the UAE, and the Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to discuss developments in the Gaza Strip, the US Secretary of State added: "We see an improvement in the rate of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, but it is not enough, and we are trying to build a temporary port to deliver aid."

He pointed out that the waterway complements the land route and is not a substitute for it.

Blinken confirmed that the Palestinians also have the state they deserve with security guarantees, noting that we have reform operations in the Palestinian Authority for participation and governance.

He said "It is necessary to seek the integration of Israel into the region, but a Palestinian state must be established to provide aid in Gaza."

The US Secretary of State continued, saying that we agree with Egypt on rejecting any military operation in Palestinian Rafah, affirming that we agreed on the necessity of finding a path that ensures the two-state solution.

The minister emphasized Washington's rejection of the displacement of Gaza's residents or Israel's reoccupation of the sector, praising what the Palestinian Authority is doing to form a new government representing all Palestinians, confirming that if the Authority continues reforms, a breakthrough will occur.

The US Secretary of State explained the importance of normalizing relations between Israel and the countries of the region, confirming that work with Arab countries continues to this moment, calling for a ceasefire and delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza, describing what is happening as a humanitarian disaster.

In turn, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry confirmed that most Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank are aware of intentions to liquidate the Palestinian issue by displacing them either internally or externally, explaining that the Palestinian people do not want a new Nakba like what happened previously, highlighting the importance of recognizing the Palestinians' rights to establish their state and fully obtain their rights.

Shoukry stressed the importance of bearing responsibility and delivering humanitarian aid, explaining that the largest amount of aid that entered Gaza was sent by Egypt through its institutions and organizations, pointing to Egypt transferring a large number of patients and wounded to receive treatment in Egyptian hospitals.
