The Joint Operations Command of the UAE Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday the execution of the 16th airdrop operation of humanitarian and relief aid over the northern Gaza Strip, carried out by joint crews belonging to the air forces of the United Arab Emirates and the Arab Republic of Egypt.

According to the UAE Ministry of Defense, this airdrop is the largest since the launch of the "Birds of Goodness" operation, carried out by 3 aircraft carrying 90 tons of food and relief aid.

The airdrop operation took place over isolated areas that are difficult to reach in the northern Gaza Strip.

This brings the total aid dropped since the launch of the "Birds of Goodness" operation to 664 tons of food and relief aid.

The "Birds of Goodness" operation comes within the framework of "Knightly Knight/3" operation to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The United Arab Emirates has doubled its efforts during the blessed month of Ramadan, providing this aid through the combined efforts of governmental, non-governmental, and charitable institutions in the country, represented by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works, Zayed bin Sultan Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works, and other humanitarian and charitable institutions in the country.
