A woman is robbed in broad daylight in Toronto.

A shocking video that went viral on social media this week showed a woman being robbed of her handbag in a parking lot at a shopping center in Toronto in broad daylight.

The video, which has been shared multiple times on platforms like X, begins with a woman walking towards Food Basics at Sandhurst 1571 located in Woodside Square.

For its part, the Toronto Police confirmed that the incident occurred on May 6 at around 5:30 PM.

After noticing two men following her, the woman turned around and immediately started to fight them off as they attempted to steal her handbag.

The woman also screamed repeatedly as the thieves ran away after stealing her bag.
