The police confirmed the death of a woman following a three-car crash in Brampton this morning, Sunday.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Queen Street East and Central Park Drive at around 9:30 a.m., and two adult individuals were transported to the hospital, one in critical condition, after the incident.
The police stated in an update that an adult woman has died, while the Major Collision Bureau of the Peel Police is investigating the incident.
Paramedics in Peel told CP24 that the injuries of the second person who was taken to the hospital are not serious.
As a result, Queen Street has been closed between Dixie Road and Central Park Drive. The entrance and exit to the Bramalea City Center shopping mall are also closed.
The cause of the accident is still unknown, and the police have not released any further details.
