At least 10 passengers were injured after a transit bus in Mississauga collided with a vehicle and fell into a ditch off Highway 27 on the west end of Toronto.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Highway 27 and Dixon Road at 11:04 AM on Tuesday to report a collision.
Photos from the scene show what appears to be a heavily damaged MiWay bus on the side of the highway and several ambulances.
Toronto police said the bus collided with a car before heading into the ditch. The drivers of both vehicles sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said paramedics are assessing the condition of about 30 passengers on the bus, 10 of whom were injured but their injuries are not life-threatening.
Both the northbound and southbound lanes from Dixon Road to Eglinton Avenue West were closed as the investigation began.
