The Israeli occupation army has completed encircling the Jabalia area and separating it from Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia to the north, and from Gaza City to the south.

The Israeli occupation army is also trying to push the area's residents, who number around 250,000, to move southward, but this attempt is not recording complete success for two reasons: these residents have not been evacuated since the beginning of the war, and Hamas is trying to prevent that from happening.

On the other hand, the Israeli security establishment clarified that the ground operation is not part of the "generals' plan," which includes starving Hamas elements through the blockade, despite the reduction in the amount of humanitarian aid entering northern Gaza and the siege of Jabalia.
