Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said in remarks to journalists that he can never completely rule out dialogue and diplomacy with Syria.
In response to a question about the possibility of talks with Damascus, Erdoğan was quoted as saying that diplomacy between countries cannot be completely cut off, in a tone less harsh than his previous statements.
Erdoğan added that there is a "need to take further steps with Syria."
