The campaign for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris has issued a new apology due to some verbal slips made by Tim Walz, her running mate for the upcoming U.S. presidential election.

The latest slip occurred when Tim Walz referred to American businessman Elon Musk with phrases relating to his sexual inclinations. According to a source in the Harris campaign, one of the attendees at a campaign event began loudly insulting Musk when Walz spoke about him, causing him to laugh and leading to his stumbling during the conversation. The source confirmed that Walz did not intend to describe Musk with any unconventional sexual inclinations.

It is noted that Walz had previously confessed to a mistake regarding his comments about his visit to Hong Kong during the protests in 1989, as some media revealed that he lied in several interviews. He stated that he was in China during the student protests in May and June 1989, despite evidence showing that he was in the United States at that time, and that his visit to China occurred in August of that year. Walz acknowledged that there were errors in his statements, but he maintained that he was in China in the summer of 1989.

In August, Walz found himself in another problem when allegations surfaced about his participation in military events during his service in the army, as Republicans insisted that this was not true, confirming that he left his military unit as soon as he learned he was being sent to Iraq. The Harris campaign admitted that he made a verbal slip.

The U.S. presidential election is scheduled to take place on November 5, where Kamala Harris from the Democratic Party will compete against Republican candidate Donald Trump.
