Emergency services responded to an incident of a man being hit by a streetcar in Toronto on Friday evening.
The Toronto Police said in a tweet on Twitter that the collision occurred in the area of St Clair Avenue West and Caledonia Road at around 6:15 p.m.
Explaining that a man was hit by a streetcar and sustained serious injuries.
On the other hand, paramedics in Toronto told local media that they transported a man to the hospital in a life-threatening condition, and the road in the area was closed immediately after the accident.
Meanwhile, TTC said that the streetcar service was suspended between Lansdowne Street and St Clair Avenue West "due to the collision".
In a tweet around 2 a.m. on Saturday, TTC said that the service had resumed.
