Hollywood star Tom Cruise's BMW car was stolen while he was filming one of the movies in the city of Birmingham. The actor was in the city filming the seventh part of the "Mission Impossible" film series.
The Sun newspaper claimed that the car used by Cruise was stolen from outside the Grand Hotel and inside it were items worth thousands of pounds sterling.
West Midlands Police said a BMW X7 was stolen from Church Street on Tuesday and was recovered shortly after.
The car was found in the neighboring city of Smethwick. Surveillance cameras are currently being reviewed and investigations are ongoing.
The Sun newspaper also claimed that the car contained luggage worth thousands of pounds sterling when it was stolen.
Parts of the Grand Central shopping center, located above New Street Station in Birmingham, were closed from Sunday to Wednesday to allow scenes from the film to be shot.
