The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, in an official statement, that the implementation of the Gaza agreement will begin on Sunday at 8:30 AM. This agreement comes as part of the efforts led by the State of Qatar to alleviate the suffering of the residents of the Gaza Strip and achieve a ceasefire between the concerned parties.
The statement emphasized that the agreement aims to improve the humanitarian conditions in the sector, including facilitating the entry of relief aid through the border crossings, ensuring the flow of goods and essential materials, as well as working on establishing a ground ceasefire.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry stressed the importance of cooperation from all parties to ensure the success of the agreement and achieve its goals, calling for continued support for the humanitarian and diplomatic efforts made to support the Palestinian people.
The announcement was welcomed by Palestinian factions that described the agreement as an important step towards alleviating the suffering of the residents of the sector, while no official comment has been issued yet from the Israeli side.
