Montreal: Canadian authorities are conducting extensive searches for three men who escaped from an immigration detention center in Laval, north of Montreal, on Saturday night.
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has issued arrest warrants for the three: Bryan Ulises Moya Rojas (30 years old), Diego Nicolas Flores Sepulveda (36 years old), and Daniel Alicio Gonzalez Irig (29 years old), all of whom are Chilean nationals.
Details of the Escape
• The Canada Border Services Agency has not disclosed how the three men escaped or the reasons for their detention at the center.
• Police have urged residents to avoid approaching the fugitives and to immediately contact the Quebec Provincial Police if they see them.
Investigation Ongoing
A spokesperson for the provincial police confirmed that the investigation is ongoing to locate the fugitives, noting that the search had not yielded any progress as of Sunday afternoon.
