The Israeli occupation forces closed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque today, Tuesday, October 24, 2023, and prevented anyone from entering to perform prayers, while dozens of settlers stormed the mosque's courtyards.
The 'Wafa' agency reported that dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate, conducted provocative tours, and performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards.
For its part, the Islamic Waqf Department stated that the occupation authorities refuse to allow anyone to enter the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque after unexpectedly closing all its doors.
It added that the occupation has imposed heavy restrictions since morning on the entry of worshippers to Al-Aqsa Mosque, where only seniors were initially allowed to enter, but the occupation later backtracked and refused to allow anyone to enter, noting that this is the first time the occupation has closed "Al-Aqsa" in months.
