Ofer Vinter, the military secretary in the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, attacked today, Tuesday, the way the occupation army manages the war on the Gaza Strip, indicating that the army is escalating matters in Gaza.
The newspaper "Israel Hayom" mentioned that Vinter stated that the leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Yahya Sinwar, has gained a global stature.
Weeks before Hamas launched the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, Sinwar sent a personal message to Israeli officials, warning of an outbreak of "escalation" related to the issue of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails. Israeli Channel 12 clarified that Sinwar's message indicated that "an escalation is expected in the prisons and concerning the prisoners."
It pointed out that the message reached Israel and that Sinwar was aware it had arrived, without specifying the person who received the message or how it was conveyed.
The channel added that the message did not contain a clear warning about the October 7 operation, but it "may have indirectly shed light on it."
According to the channel, those who received the message excluded the possibility that it referred to disturbances occurring among Palestinian prisoners held by Israel, and believed it concerned Israeli captives or missing persons in past incidents.
