The Israeli occupation army announced that it intercepted a surface-to-surface missile launched from Yemen today, Sunday.
The Israeli defense forces said via the “Telegram” app that the Arrow 3 missile defense system shot down the projectile before it crossed into Israeli territory.
The Israeli army added that "air raid sirens were sounded due to the possibility of debris falling. The incident has ended."
Israel had confirmed yesterday, Saturday, carrying out air strikes on the coastal city of Hudaydah.
The attack on Hudaydah followed a Houthi attack on a "significant target" in Tel Aviv the day before yesterday, Friday, which the Houthis described as retaliation for the actions of the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip.
