Canadian airports accommodated about 117 million passengers in one year, according to the latest statistics.
A new report revealed the airports in Canada that received the largest number of complaints from travelers, and despite being the largest and busiest airports in Canada, Toronto Pearson International Airport was not the worst.
Ontario Casinos analyzed passenger opinions to identify the airports in Canada with the highest number of traveler complaints.
The company's analysis focused on the percentage of reviews mentioning delay or cancellation and the percentage of negative ratings each airport received.
According to their findings, London International Airport (YXU) in Ontario is the airport with the highest number of traveler complaints, with 42% of the reviews commenting on delays.
YXU is also ranked 12th among the busiest passenger airports in Canada.
Following YXU, Fredericton International Airport (YFC) in New Brunswick came in second, with 18% of travelers complaining about delayed or canceled flights at the airport.
Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ) ranked third, with 10% of the reviews indicating delayed or canceled flights.
