The Russian intelligence on Monday blamed the Ukrainian "special services" for the killing of Alexander Dugin's daughter, the Russian nationalist thinker close to President Vladimir Putin, following the explosion of a car she was driving near Moscow.
Russian security authorities added in a statement published by local news agencies that the person who planted the bomb in Daria Dugina's car later fled to Estonia.
Daria Dugina, the journalist and political analyst who openly expressed support for the Russian attack on Ukraine, was driving a Toyota Land Cruiser when it exploded and caught fire on a highway near the village of Bolshi Vyazomi, 40 kilometers from Moscow, according to the statement.
Investigators mentioned that an explosive device was planted in the car and there is reason to believe that "the crime was premeditated."
