Agencies: A video clip circulated on social media documenting a rare moment when a river in Canada freezes due to ice, in a very rare scene.
In the clip, the river or stream in Squamish, Canada begins to disappear until you think it was never there in the first place, due to the severe drop in temperatures.
The scene is rare to see with the naked eye, as the weakly flowing river instantly freezes and disappears as if it never existed in reality.
The clip impressed social media users and was widely circulated.
It is worth noting that Canada is the second largest country in the world by area, with its diverse nature of plains, mountains, coasts, and lakes spread over an area close to ten million square kilometers.
Winter characteristics vary from one region to another, with variations in its duration, severity, extreme cold, snowstorms, snow, rain, winds, ice, freezing rain, and other factors accompanying this time of year. Canada is also known for its cold winters and the ice that causes rivers and streams to freeze.
