The Prime Minister met this morning in the Canadian capital Ottawa with the leaders of the Muslim community at the central celebration held by the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid.

The Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had congratulated the Muslims of his country and Muslims around the world on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr last night, Sunday.

In a congratulatory message on his official website, the Canadian Prime Minister confirmed that "Eid al-Fitr comes after a month of Muslims performing the obligation of fasting, charity, and reflection, and the importance of the occasion is reflected in the gathering of Muslims, their visiting each other, and spending a beautiful time together."

Trudeau said that "Eid al-Fitr is an opportunity for Canadian citizens to learn about the contributions of its Muslims across the country, adding that they provide great services and work to help in many important issues."

Congratulating Muslims on Eid al-Fitr is an annual tradition of the Canadian Prime Minister as part of strengthening the spirit of love among members of Canadian society, which contributes to achieving peaceful coexistence and strengthening the social fabric among the citizens of the same country.

It is noteworthy that a large number of members of the Muslim community flocked today to participate in Eid prayer and celebration segments, which created chaos reflecting the lack of prior organization for such a huge influx of citizens.
