A new ranking placed the Canadian city of Toronto at the forefront of the friendliest cities around the world.
The ranking issued by the Preply platform included 53 cities worldwide based on the friendliness and friendliness of their residents towards non-citizens.
This is based on the following factors:
Friendly staff: the percentage of the extent of welcome from local employees.
Visitor return rate: the percentage of visitors who returned to each city after traveling to it.
Community respect: the result of the city safety index, which indicates whether the environment is safe for both citizens and newcomers.
Diversity acceptance: the degree of LGBTQ+ equality in each city, indicating whether it is an accepting and supportive community.
Happiness: the degree of happiness and overall well-being of the city according to the residents.
Ease of communication through a common language.
As stated in the Preply ranking: “Toronto takes pride in a visitor return rate of 15%, meaning that people who come to Toronto tend to love it so much that they return repeatedly.”
The ranking also described the city as an inclusive place welcoming to all, and Toronto received a happiness score of 7.03 out of 10.
