The Palestinian Red Crescent in the Gaza Strip confirmed today, Friday, that the Israeli occupation continues to target residential neighborhoods, and its teams are trying to provide medical aid as much as their capabilities allow.
In a press statement, the Red Crescent called on the international community to establish field hospitals and send medical delegations to the sector, which has been subjected to a genocide war since October 7, resulting in more than 100,000 martyrs, wounded, and missing.
The Palestinian Red Crescent explained that the occupation persists in the policy of collective punishment and starving the Palestinian people and disregards international calls demanding a ceasefire.
Sources in the civil defense sector and Palestinian civilians said that dozens of martyrs' bodies from the Na'im family were retrieved after the occupation withdrew from the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood east of Gaza.
The occupation aviation carried out an airstrike this morning east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.
Sources said that the body of an unidentified child arrived at the European Hospital after being retrieved from inside the Hamad residential city as a result of the latest occupation bombing.
Meanwhile, the European Union's foreign policy coordinator Josep Borrell condemned the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces on "Al-Rashid Street" in Gaza City yesterday, against Palestinian civilians who were waiting for the arrival of aid trucks, which led to the martyrdom and injury of hundreds.
Borrell said via the X platform, "I am horrified by reports of another massacre among civilians in Gaza who are in dire need of humanitarian aid," adding that the fall of this number of martyrs in the massacre is "completely unacceptable."
Borrell continued that "depriving people of humanitarian aid constitutes a serious violation" of international humanitarian law, adding, "Humanitarian aid must be allowed to reach Gaza without obstacles."
The "Al-Rashid Street" massacre resulted in the martyrdom of more than 112 Palestinian civilians and the injury of 760 others.
