Oil prices fell today, Tuesday, to their lowest level since last February, after disappointing economic data from China, the largest crude purchaser, raised fears of a global recession. Futures contracts recovered their earlier losses during the session, but then fell again, with Brent dropping to $92.07 per barrel, losing about $3, while the US West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell by about $3.19 to reach $86.81.
