A number of Palestinians were martyred and others were injured early this Friday due to rocket and artillery shelling, and gunfire by the occupying forces on various areas of the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian news agency, WAFA, reported that paramedics retrieved five martyrs and eight injuries belonging to two families, following the occupation's shelling of an apartment in the al-Daraj area in the center of Gaza City.
A Palestinian was also martyred and others were injured in an airstrike carried out by an Israeli drone on Palestinians near the entrance of the al-Zawiya village in the central sector.
Paramedics retrieved two more martyrs after one was shot by a "quadcopter" drone east of the al-Nuseirat camp in the central sector, and another due to the occupation's shelling of a house north of the camp.
The military vehicles of the occupation stationed at the martyrs’ junction fired towards the homes of citizens in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City, while the occupation's artillery fired several shells on the western areas of Rafah City in the southern sector.
The Israeli warplanes bombed a house in the al-Bureij camp in the central sector and carried out two airstrikes east of Khan Younis City in the southern sector, and launched flares in the skies over the western region of Gaza City, while the occupation demolished residential buildings in the al-Qarara town northeast of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli occupying forces continue their aggression on the Gaza Strip by land, sea, and air since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 40,005 Palestinians and the injury of 92,401 others, while thousands of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, and rescue teams cannot reach them due to Israeli restrictions.
