Leader of the National Democratic Party: Trump's second presidential term represents a problem for Canada

The leader of the new Federal Democratic Party, Jagmeet Singh, said that former US President Donald Trump lives in his own world entirely, and if he returns to the White House, it could cause problems for Canada.

Singh pointed out, during the National Democratic Party meeting in Edmonton, that Trump operates in his own world, likening him to a person obsessed with vanity seeking revenge on his political enemies, emphasizing that it is very disturbing to watch him return to the White House again,

Meanwhile, Trump's second match with US President Joe Biden became more likely on Tuesday after his victory in the New Hampshire primaries, strengthening his grip on the Republican Party's presidential nomination.

The Liberal government declared this week that it will launch the "Team Canada" task force to strengthen its local interests in preparation for Trump's presidency, which Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says represents a certain degree of unpredictability.

With the US elections approaching rapidly and the Liberals declining in the polls, they began to escalate their attacks on the Conservatives as practicing American-style politics, and on Pierre Poilievre as representing "Trump North."

The Conservatives rejected the Liberal attacks as a distraction from domestic issues.

Singh said on Tuesday: "Donald Trump is frankly in his own world." "The things he did, the things he said, and the kind of person he is, cannot be compared to anyone else; there is no one more harmful to democracy, harmful to the people, harmful to the planet than Donald Trump."
