A fire in a building in Montreal prompted the call of about 100 firefighters from Montreal to control the fire yesterday, Sunday.
The Montreal Fire Department (SIM) issued its first alarm shortly after 5 a.m. regarding the blaze in the three-story building located at the corner of Cote St. Luc Road and
.Robert Burns Road.
The building was vacant and consisted of a commercial floor and two residential floors above it. The fire department confirmed that there were no injuries.
Power was cut off to the area, and residents were advised to avoid driving nearby while firefighters were working.
