Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada, surprised a pie shop owner in Toronto yesterday, Saturday, with a visit for a snack and a handshake with the restaurant's patrons when he stopped by a restaurant in Toronto for a snack this week.
The Prime Minister is no stranger to the food scene in Toronto, having stopped at Chubby's Jamaican kitchen earlier this year, and it seems he is not done exploring the culinary offerings of the city yet.
Mustafa, the owner of the Turkish restaurant in North York, shocked and impressed his followers on social media when he posted a picture of his staff smiling alongside Trudeau, commenting, "Thanks to the Prime Minister for visiting our restaurant today.
Mustafa is considered a local legend in North York - he serves some of the best pies in the city.
