The Russian army announced on Friday, September 9, 2022, the sending of reinforcements towards the city of Kharkiv in Ukraine, following a breach achieved by Ukrainian forces in this area located on the border with Russia, while estimates indicated that Ukraine needs $350 billion for reconstruction.
Kyiv had announced that it regained about 700 square kilometers in this area located in northeastern Ukraine in recent days, notably the city of Balakliia, in addition to about twenty towns, according to what the French news agency reported.
For his part, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken considered on Thursday, September 8, that Moscow's deployment of reinforcements indicates that Russia is paying a "high price."
The Russian Ministry of Defense, which did not comment on the matter, announced to Russian news agencies the deployment of reinforcements in this direction, and broadcast a video showing armored vehicles, artillery, and trucks moving in large numbers on unspecified roads.
