Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem today, Sunday, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.
Eyewitnesses reported that dozens of settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in groups, carried out provocative tours in its courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals, according to the Palestinian News and Information Agency "Wafa".
The occupation police imposed restrictions on the entry of worshippers to Al-Aqsa and tightened their military procedures at the gates of the Old City, which they turned into a military barracks, where hundreds of occupation police personnel spread out at close distances, especially at the gates of Al-Aqsa.
Additionally, the occupation forces arrested eight Palestinians today, Sunday, including three children and a cancer patient from Hebron governorate, south of the West Bank.
