The extremist Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich called on Monday to encourage the voluntary migration of Hamas-supporting populations from Gaza, considering this a political goal that will create a different reality.

Smotrich added during a press conference that Israel will move towards "canceling the Oslo Agreement and dissolving the Palestinian Authority to confront any unilateral step against it," calling on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to announce that: "Unilateral measures will be met with unilateral measures."

He also demanded "full operational control of the Israeli army in the entire Gaza Strip for many years."

He continued: "Whoever threatens us must look south and see what Gaza looks like."

He explained: "We have clear political goals, which are completely different from the political and security concept led by the left since the cursed Oslo Accords, which are supposed to strengthen Zionism, promote settlement, and fortify the security of the State of Israel."

Earlier, Smotrich wrote on Facebook: "Welcome the voluntary migration of Gaza Arabs to countries around the world."

Smotrich's idea of encouraging displacement aligns with the ideas of the Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who previously affirmed his support for the idea of resettling Palestinians from the Gaza Strip abroad, announcing that the war represents "an opportunity to focus on encouraging the migration of Gaza's residents."
