The Israeli war government has decided to send a delegation to Qatar to resume talks in order to reach a deal for the release of detainees in the Gaza Strip, according to the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation "Radio Kan".
According to a report by the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation, the decision was made after ministers listened to reports from negotiators and discussed in a conference call the results of consultations held with officials from the United States, Qatar, and Egypt in Paris on February 23 and 24 to mediate a deal with Hamas.
A delegation of specialists will travel to Doha to discuss specific issues, including the names of the Palestinian prisoners who will be released.
The report stated that the Israeli war government began on Saturday night/Sunday discussing the details of the deal agreed upon in Paris. The war government is scheduled to continue the talks later today, Sunday.
