The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, said that what happened to Israel in Gaza has led it to lower its stated goals regarding other fronts, especially in Lebanon.
He added in a speech today, Wednesday, that Israel is no longer threatening to eliminate the resistance in Lebanon and to wage a total war against it, according to Sputnik News.
He pointed out that the Israeli tank in Rafah failed to make progress in a narrow area, so how can it be threatened with invading southern Lebanon?
He continued: "If the Israeli decides to attack southern Lebanon after the ceasefire in Gaza, we will defend Lebanon and will not tolerate the occupation, and we must remain in resistance and in its environment, ready for the worst possibilities, even though we look forward to reversing this matter."
The border areas in southern Lebanon have been witnessing exchanges of fire between the occupation army and Hezbollah since October 8th, following Israel's declaration of war on Gaza.
