Hamas leader Osama Hamdan told Sky News Arabia that a delegation from the movement headed by leader Khalil al-Hayya will head to Cairo to continue ceasefire talks with Egyptian and Qatari officials.

Hamdan confirmed that "there is no Qatari offer based on replacing a complete ceasefire with the release of a larger number of Palestinian prisoners."

Hamdan considered Netanyahu's threat to enter Rafah as "confirming his intention to carry out a genocide and an attempt to displace the Palestinian people."

For his part, Hamas leader Sami Abu Zuhri called on Palestinian factions to continue fighting.

He explained that the movement's positive response to the Paris proposal was from "a position of strength, not weakness."

The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced his rejection of Hamas's demands, which were included in its response to the Paris proposal, affirming his determination to completely eliminate the movement in Gaza.

Netanyahu said in a press conference on Wednesday, "There must be negotiations through intermediaries, but not in light of Hamas's response."

He mentioned that continuing the military pressure is "a basic condition, and also not giving in to Hamas's demands," considering that dealing with the movement's demands "will not lead to the release of the abductees but rather to a new massacre."

On the other hand, Netanyahu said, "Decisive victory is our goal and we will accept nothing less."

He added that he ordered the Defense Forces to "operate in Rafah," with "opening a safe corridor for the residents," thus confirming his intention to proceed with attacking Rafah, which is crowded with displaced persons from other destroyed parts of Gaza.

Netanyahu said: "There is no other solution except decisive victory."

The Israeli Prime Minister confirmed that this requires "that there is no Hamas in Gaza."
