The Syrian "Sham FM" radio station said that the sound of several explosions was heard near the Sayyida Zainab shrine on the outskirts of the Syrian capital, Damascus.
A Syrian military source told Reuters that the explosion targeted a site used by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
Syrian media also reported that an Israeli attack with three rockets targeted a farm near the Sayyida Zainab area in Damascus.
Meanwhile, no official comment has been issued by the Israeli occupation authorities or any official media in this regard, but Tel Aviv is accustomed to launching raids on Syria, saying that its operations are targeted at Revolutionary Guard objectives.
