Officials announced the demolition of two houses in Brampton, Ontario after a fire broke out Thursday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded to a fire at a house in Van north, McLaughlin Road, Scott Drive north of Sandalwood Parkway and faced large flames and thick smoke.
Firefighters were seen continuing to flood the house
with water after extinguishing the fire, and no injuries were reported at this time.
Brampton Fire Chief Bill Boyes also posted on social media that two houses were severely damaged, and the cause, origin, and circumstances of the fire are unknown.
