A man was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Brampton on Thursday morning. The collision occurred at Main Street North and Vodden Street East at around 8:20 AM.
Peel police were called to Main and Vodden Streets after reports of a three-vehicle collision, two of which were heavily damaged, and the cause of the collision is not yet clear.
A man was transported to the hospital with serious injuries but later died from his wounds. No other injuries have been reported.
According to a later police report, a woman was detained at the scene, and police say charges are still pending. It is too early to determine whether speed or alcohol consumption was a factor in the accident.
The intersection was closed at the time, and police are asking drivers to avoid the area and requesting that any witnesses in the area at the time of the accident contact the police immediately.
