All 22 Taiwanese cities and counties closed schools and government offices today, Thursday, due to Typhoon Jimi.
The Taiwan News Agency reported that authorities announced yesterday evening, Wednesday, that all schools and government offices would be closed today for the second consecutive day.
Typhoon Jimi, one of the strongest typhoons to hit Taiwan in recent years, has resulted in the deaths of two people, injuries to 200 others, and the cancellation of all domestic flights today.
