Closure of several schools in Ontario

Many schools in Brampton, Ontario, were closed after a man was shot near Chinguacousy Park this Tuesday afternoon.

Peel Police said they responded to the incident at the park located in the Bramalea Road and Queen Street East area just before 2:30 PM.

They added that the victim was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

It was not immediately known which schools in the area were under
surveillance and security.
