A recent Canadian study revealed that difficult situations, high work pressures, and low wages, especially among men, cause various heart problems.
The study warned of heavy workloads
The study conducted by the Laval University Research Center in Quebec found that heavy workloads and putting in extra effort in various tasks without good rewards may represent a health dilemma for men and lead to life-threatening heart problems.
The study, which covered different age groups with various jobs, explained that male workers who suffer from an imbalance between effort exerted and salary and rewards were about 49% more likely to develop cardiovascular diseases compared to men who do not face such pressures.
The researchers warned of the danger of stress in the work environment, especially if the job is demanding and takes a long time, pointing out that lack of appreciation, little praise, and low wages at work later lead to serious heart attacks.
