The Canadian police said on Monday that shootings resulted in several victims in Langley near Vancouver, and that they have arrested a suspect. 

Police spokeswoman Rebecca Parslow said: "There were a number of victims and several shootings”.

 She added that "there is a man in custody, the police are investigating the possibility of involvement of other suspects”.

The Canadian police announced the death of 3 people including the shooter.

According to Canadian media, it is believed that the suspect deliberately shot homeless people in the city.

A message alerting residents stated that "there are multiple crime scenes in downtown Langley, which is home to about 130,000 people, located about 40 kilometers southeast of Vancouver in British Columbia”.

The authorities indicated in their message that they "have responded to a suspect, without knowing if others are involved, up to this moment".
