The Frontenac detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police investigated after the death of a pedestrian in a collision with a transport truck on Highway 401 near Kingston.
OPP said it responded to the scene on the westbound lane of the highway before 10 p.m. Sunday.
The police said the 52-year-old person from Kingston died at the scene. It is still unclear why they were on the highway.
