The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, discussed yesterday, Wednesday, with the Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly, the importance of strengthening strategic dialogue between the two sides, within the framework of seeking to build partnerships in areas that serve mutual interests.
News agencies reported that the two sides reviewed during the meeting the Gulf-Canadian relations and ways to develop them in various fields. They also followed up on the developments of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two parties in 2016, and the joint action plan for strategic dialogue and cooperation in political, security, health, educational, and energy fields, in addition to exchanging views on the most important regional and international issues of mutual interest.
