A new report issued by Kayak, a travel search engine, revealed the list of the best travel destinations for Canadians in 2024.

The report showed that Asian destinations still dominate the top ten travel destinations this spring, with a 207% year-over-year increase in searches, and Shanghai in China is the most popular city
this year among Canadian travelers.

The report stated: According to data from Kayak, Asia remains the top destination for Canadians during spring break, with a 14 percent increase in flight searches since last year."

It continued: With the total cost of airline tickets decreasing by 12 percent in 2024 compared to 2023, now might be the time to take that trip."

Among the top ten locations, only one Canadian destination appeared on the list:

Houston, Texas, US .9

Málaga, Spain .8

Taipei City, Taiwan .7

Edmonton, Alberta .6

Tampa, Florida, US .5

Incheon, South Korea .4
