The Australian authorities evacuated Canberra airport on Sunday following reports of gunfire, according to official media.
According to media reports, parts of the building were closed while the rest was evacuated, and all flights were suspended following the incident.
Shortly after, the police arrested a suspect involved in the shooting at Canberra airport.
A number of journalists at the airport posted photos and videos of the aftermath of the incident, showing windows damaged by what appears to be "gunfire," while the police questioned passengers who were in the building at the time.
According to the Canberra airport website, no flights have departed since 1:20 local time.
