Armed robbery for the second time at a jewelry store in Durham

The city of Oshawa, Ontario witnessed an armed robbery at a jewelry store, marking the second robbery at the same store.

Durham Police reported that four suspects managed to break into the Paris Jewellers gold store, which is located in the Oshawa center, and stole a large quantity of the store's jewelry.

Security agencies also mentioned that three suspects in the incident were arrested while fleeing on the day of the event. The ages of the accused were 17, 16, and 15 years old. On January 22, four more suspects were also arrested in the same case.

In its statement about the incident, the police said that the accused broke the store's glass and display cases and forced a "suspect" employee to open the store's safe.

The police statement also reported that the suspects managed to seize $100,000 before fleeing the scene in a car that was waiting for them.

The security agencies managed to seize the car; the suspects abandoned the car after realizing the police were chasing them, then fled on foot before being arrested.
