WhatsApp has developed a feature that allows users to hide their status while using the app, according to the specialized WhatsApp news site "WABetaInfo," which shared a screenshot of the new privacy settings that allow someone to specify who can see them when using the app (Online).
After the beta release in April, the company gave more control over who can see the last time you checked the app. The problem with the "Last Seen" status on WhatsApp was that it gave contacts a way to know if you had entered the app without opening their message.
According to the shared screenshot, the new online status feature will allow selecting the same people you don't want to see your last seen status.
