Ukrainian media and authorities reported explosions in several regions of the country after Russian forces launched a massive missile strike on Ukraine this morning, Monday.
Local media and social media reported explosions in the capital Kyiv and in the cities of Kremenchuk and Myrhorod in the Poltava region, and Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro, and Kropyvnytskyi in the Kirovohrad region (central).
Reports mentioned damage to an industrial facility in the Poltava region without providing details.
Explosions were also heard in Vinnytsia region (central) and in the cities of Zaporizhzhia and Odesa (south), as well as in the regions of Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lutsk, and Lviv (west).
The mayor of Kharkiv (north) confirmed a series of explosions in the city.
Reports indicated instances of power outages in Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro, and Odesa.
