In a tweet on platform X, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that "Canada unequivocally condemns the reckless Iranian attack against Israel."
He explained, "This attack puts innocent civilians at risk."
Pointing out that Israel has the right to defend itself, he said, "We fully support Israel's right to defend itself against this attack."
He called for an end to the escalation in the region for the safety of civilians, saying, "We reiterate our call for de-escalation across the region, for the safety of all civilians."
